Mission Statement

The Mitsubishi Enthusiast Club of Alberta (MECA) is a collection of Mitsubishi owners and enthusiasts located in Alberta, Canada, who have come together and operate as a sub-chapter or "team", under the banner of EvoXForums.com.  MECA's goal is to develop and grow a supportive community, providing our members a friendly environment within which they can discuss various topics, share ideas, promote and most importantly share a common appreciation for all Mitsubishi.  As members of a considerate community, we all have the utmost respect for each other, the community itself, the rules and guidelines set forth by EvoXForums.com, and of the course all pertinent provincial/federal laws and regulations.

Membership Rules

The rules of membership are primarily stipulated in order to protect our Club and it’s members from anyone who may, through their own actions, consciously or otherwise, bring the reputation of the club and it’s membership, and by association the EvoXForums.com, into question.

Membership to the Mitsubishi Enthusiast Club of Alberta (MECA), while paid for, is a priveledge, and as such can be revoked, without recourse or refund, at any point should an idividual members actions warrant it. At this juncture, said individual would immediately be required to remove all club logo's, markings and merchandise at their own expense. As a member of the club, and by displaying the club’s logo on your vehicle, you are a representative of the club in the eyes of both the authorities and public at large. With this in mind, we ask that you act in a respectful and responsible manner in all actions directly and indirectly associated with the club and/or your fellow members.

We acknowledge that we are primarily gathered due to our common enthusiasm for the Evo X and vehicles in general, and that we take enjoyment from these vehicles. If you wish to fully exploit these vehicles, and most of us surely do, please keep it to such locations where it is safe, legal and above all fun to do so.
